No Aid For Christians?
November 9, 2006 · Mustapha Hamoui

Is there religious discrimination in distributing the war’s aid pledges?
After the war, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, (both Sunni Muslim countries with good relations with the Lebanese Future Movement) have respectively pledged donations of textbooks and school fees for Lebanese students.
Today, an audio that is prominently displayed on the FPM’s website suggests that the money is not reaching Christian ares (The FPM has been claiming that the Seniora government is discriminating in the distribution of aid).
In the audio, students in Jounieh (a Christian area) are complaining that they haven’t seen anything from the aid pledges.
I wonder if students in taree2 el jdeedeh (a Sunni Muslim Hariri stronghold) are getting their books and scholarships.
