“Now that it’s over, I don’t know what I will do”

* Update: the article turned up to be a satirical blog post. See comments for details * This article on Lebanese world cup withdrawal syndrome is attributed to the AFP.

22 year-old Spain supporter Ahmad said “usually, I like to ride my Vespa around town and burn tires. But I have grown tired of the same old routine of causing mayhem and chanting slogans. The street celebrations allowed me to release my angst and frustrations in a more non-threatening way. Now that it’s over, I don’t know what I will do.”

I remember reading something similar about the Americans after the 2008 Obama elections. If you found the original AFP article (if it exists) please send me the link.
