Ladies and gentlemen, brace yourselves: On the 9th of August, the Sayyed is planning to prove to the entire world that it is fact Israel, not Syria, not Hezbollah, who planned for and carried out the assassination of Prime Minister Hariri.

Mr. Nasrallah will use audio visual material and “documented proofs” to show the entire world that Israel arranged for this diabolical plot to split the Lebanese people with the sole purpose of “crushing” the resistance.

He will explain to us how Israeli spies were in the airport, and spotted with alarm the incoming Gebran Tueni, and managed to kill him only a few hours later.

He will also demonstrate how our enemy got into the minutiae of Lebanese politics, and found out that Samir Kassir, George Hawi, May Shedyac, Pierre el Gemayyel, Antoine Ghanem and Walid Eido are all expendable to the cause of splitting the Lebanese people and crushing Hezbollah.

He will also explain to us why Hezbollah slept on the secret proofs of Israel’s involvement for so long, and allowed public money to be wasted on an expensive international trial which was causing so much political turmoil in this country.

What he won’t explain to us however is this: Why would Israel go through such an intricate labyrinth of assassinations to achieve this fantastically complicated conspiracy of crushing Hezbollah? Why didn’t Israel, which apparently was killing Lebanese VIPs with such ease, skip the middle man and go straight to their real target: Hezbollah’s own leadership?

I really, really can’t wait until August 9th.
