Jumblat Wants Syrian Troops To Return To Lebanon

He has come full circle since he announced from parliament back in 2005 that the Syrian troops should withdraw. Here’s a conversation he had with Michael Young, as witnessed by the latter:
Walid Jumblat: “We should stop this fixation on the Syrians. They can’t do anything if the situation begins deteriorating; they don’t have troops on the ground”
Michael Young: “But they would like to”
Walid Jumblat: “And why not, I would support this, This is not a nation but a collection of tribes. You can quote me.”
