The Syrian president wants Hariri to stay as PM:
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has described Premier Saad Hariri as the right person for the period Lebanon is currently going through, noting that the latter is capable of “overcoming the current situation” in Lebanon.
Translation: We want to make life hell for you, but we don’t want you to resign..
