If You Want Real Security, It’s Ok To Do Racial Profiling

So says an Israeli expert who’s giving advice to north American airports on how to better handle security:

“The word ‘profiling’ is a political invention by people who don’t want to do security,” he said. “To us, it doesn’t matter if he’s black, white, young or old. It’s just his behaviour. So what kind of privacy am I really stepping on when I’m doing this?”

The funny thing is that the Americans who are fed up with the new invasive searches at airports are now looking at the Israeli model as something they should emulate because it does not sacrifice convenience.

This sounds to me like a big scam to sell Israeli security technologies to the Americans.
