If Israel Killed Hariri, Then Who Killed Wissam Eid?

November 25, 2010 · Mustapha Hamoui

Good question from Michael Young:

come to think of it, who did kill Eid? Was it the Israelis? If so, that makes no sense at all, since his conclusions were pointing in the direction of Hizbullah, which is precisely, one assumes, what the Israelis wanted. The more those opposed to the tribunal try to manufacture ways to undermine its work, the more absurd their contortions become

Ah, but there’ll always be those who have a response: You see, the Israelis killed Capt. Eid so that we think that he was killed by Hezbollah. Israel then over-reacted to Hezbollah provocations and caused the July war immediately afterwards so that we think that Hezbollah started a war to change the topic from the killing of Eid.

Simple, right? The sad thing is, to many people in this country, the convoluted theories are always the most obvious.
