Racially Profiling The Lebanese At Bahrain’s Airport

April 6, 2011 · Mustapha Hamoui

Not exactly a red carpet:

Arriving at Bahrain’s small, formerly passive, international airport, two undesirable types of travelers are being singled out: those appearing to be journalists and those believed to be of Lebanese origin, irrespective of current nationality.

I don’t know who I should be more angry at: Hezbollah’s leaders for messing up the relationship with Bahrain, or those Bahraini bigots who are suddenly treating all Lebanese as “undesirable” pests.. (via Jad)
