The Egyptian Army Wants You to Believe That Democracy and Chaos are the Same Thing

A good observation by Ursula Lindsey:
The disastrous way in which the Egyptian elections are being conducted is not just a matter of mismanagement (although there is plenty of that too) — it is a matter of making democracy as dangerous and confusing as possible. It a purposeful politics of chaos.
Call me conspiratorial, but I’m seeing some macabre American, Saudi and Israeli hands secretly (and not so secretly) supporting the armed forces in their nasty plans. Tunisia is not strategically important, so they let the country do its own thing. But Egypt? That’s a whole different ball game..
