Quick Beirut Airport Arrival Tip
April 25, 2014 · Mustapha Hamoui

I just landed in Beirut Last night and I didn’t have a Lebanese SIM number. I wanted to talk with my family to tell them that I arrived safely and ask them if they needed anything from the so-called duty free shops.
Luckily, I found out that you can get 30 minutes of free wifi by the conveyor belts. All you have to do is to click the “ok” button at the airport login page. 30 minutes turned out more than enough to talk on FaceTime audio (or Skype if you want) with my wife and family, catch up on my WhatsApp messages, Facebook updates and tweets and even read a bit of Lebanese Blogs..
The best thing is that this give you something to do while you’re waiting for the bags to appear on the belts..
